O'Hanlon
Paving, part of the Fath Group of Companies, is an Edmonton owned and
operated company established in 1956. Art O'Hanlon started the firm in
April 1956 with just a few pieces of equipment. In 1959, the firm
purchased its first asphalt plant and has engaged in asphaltic concrete
production and asphalt paving operations since. O'Hanlon now owns three
asphalt plants: two are set up and operate in Edmonton at 11831
Meridian Street NE and the other is portable. In addition to our
asphalt plants, we run a soil cement plant, three paving crews, nine
base crews, one foamed asphalt crew, three mechanical shops and a fleet
of trucks and mechanical street sweepers.
Ron Fath has been involved with O'Hanlon since it was started, becoming a full partner in 1958. Thomas Fath began working for O'Hanlon in 1968 and worked his way up through various positions on paving crews and in the office before becoming a partner in 1985. Thomas has been the president of O'Hanlon paving since 1989 and by 1990 the Fath family had purchased all shares in the company. The Fath family has since purchased several other companies, which now make up the Fath Group. |
